Default London Marathon

Hadn't realised the marathon is tomorrow.

I know most are in to building muscle and not doing loads of extended cardio, for good reason, but has anyone done a marathon or considered entering the London Marathon, or any other marathon? I know Val has

I've always found the marathon that goes across a desert intriguing but with an unstable kneecap, I really can't run without causing hellish pain.

I was a runner for many years. I ran on the cross country team in high school and junior high. I would run up to 10 miles per day depending on energy.

My sister picked up the running bug from me and trained as a marathon runner. Knee tendinitis kicked in and she had to eventually give up long, long distance running.

I have done the Cardiff Half Marathon, but my knees didnt like me very much for quite a while afterwards... Also with legs that are 28" long and 24" around Im not really built for it. I prefer 5-10k's

Carl.

I did a marathon when I was 21. I was so arrogant at that age that I eschewed any sort of training for it. I completed it, but it was murder, and my time was far from spectacular. .

These days, I can't run 400m, let alone 40km.
