Heading up north....
 

My Grandfather slipped in the ice and broke his femur yesterday. The man is 90 years old and my Grandmother is on an oxygen tank 24/7. So I am heading up north to help out since I'm the only family in the state of Michigan. A broken femur for an elderly man of 90 can be extremely serious, it's not like you and me who could be in and out in the same day. We are young and healthy. He has to have surgery and these types of hospitalization almost leadds to other serious issues for the elderly. Please keep them in your thoughts, thanks MAB!

Came home yesterday evening to see the wife and kids. I managed to get today off as a vacation day so I have the whole week off now to help out. Surgery is this morning and I will be heading back up to the hospital soon. Thanks for the all the prayers they are much appreciated!

Things are looking good, my grandfather is set to go home tomorrow. My aunt flies in Monday to stay for 2 weeks then my father comes up for a bit.
