Since btb brought up the ipad in another thread, I thought I would post this. I am thinking of getting a smart phone in the next few months so I want to start getting some opinons?

What kind of smart phones do you guys use??

What do you think is the best smart phone out there?

What service provider is the best in your opinion?

Droid X ~ Verizon

Nothing but excellent service for me. Others say they have had terrible service, but I think that it can go that way with any carrier. I chose them due to the fact they had local towers where I live and the ability to get great reception here.

As far as provider it really depends on your location. Where I live Sprint is the best, I've actually been with Sprint/Nextel for nearly 12 years. Best prices hands down!

As for phones, Droids are the way to go J. I have the Samsung Intercept and love it. If I had the extra money I would have gotten the Epic. Reason I didn't is the 4G phones require you to pay extra for 4G service EVEN though it's not available in my area for more than a year from now

I am leaning towards verizon for a service provider. Everyone that has it in my area seems to love it.

I am still debating about getting the iphone 4 from verizon once they work the kinks out or getting one of the versions of the droid. Such a tough choice, especially when you will have the phone for 2 years.

I have a blackberry bold on Verizon. I've had it for a year and never had trouble with it, service is great although internet seems to be kinda slow sometimes

I wanted a BB till I got one, the BB is better than your normal flip phones but out of all the phones I've had the droids are kick ass!!
