Default "PR" challenge

If you are investing 100% you should make 1 PR a week even if its 1 lb. or 1 rep.
Cutting for a comp, 1 month out is the exception.
Think its not possible? Are you saying I'm better than you? Am I special? We all can do it. Its a mind set. Lets roll.

RULES:
  1. MUST be a ME lift. (more than a 10 rep lift don't count, thats a saturation set)
  2. Must NOT be first time doing a NEW lift OR going to ME form Working sets. IF you are changing it up the PR over your last ME lift will be excepted the first and second week. Week 3 (Jan 23rd and on) and on, you can't use this grandfather rule.
  3. 6 to 10 rage don't count there a working set
  4. 1-5 rep range counts thats a ME set.
  5. If you log a PR that isn't true you get the status of "BSer" for 3 months. (yes, we- everyone in on this, will be going threw logs to verify so don't even try to pull a fast one)
  6. Once you post a PR post (This week to get in ONLY) you are in even if you miss a PR next week. NO Backing out. Jan 15th is last day to get in. Try to get in AFTER the 15th and your post WILL be deleted Status will be "Short Cut" for 1 month.
  7. You miss a PR "Back Slide" will be your status. adding a number as people fail (1,2,3 and so on) First one out will be "Back Slider1"
  8. Every entry is responsible for knowing these rules. If they get the tag "Bone Head" they have NO excuse and have NO reason to get mad.
  9. Anyone doing a legit comp (buddy comps don't count), gets a 1 month pre-comp and 4 week post comp grace period. If we get that far.
  10. WIN and get the status of "PR KING" for the rest of 2011.

awesome idea Rich! not sure that would work for me though, the steve reeves routine has me doing 8-12 reps for every lift

NOPE, all working sets NO ME sets. Sorry bro. NON ME lifts have way to many variables. Something as simple as a stuffed up nose, mind set on acid build up pain, can very theses. Not to be a Bitch just a fact.

My "PR" for the week

H.S. ISO Shoulder Press 125 plate weight only per side for 3 reps. Last week was 120 x 3.


Log you PR for the week like this. PR don't have to be with the same lift each week as long as its a true PR by the rules..

If you do a 5 set once a week. Thats why I did it for a week not per day.

Great idea rich! I dont use he same exercises (i.e rows vary from BB/DB/T-Bar, ohp variation etc) each week but ill follow this comp and looking forward to se yall smash it!
