This site has grown a lot since I have been gone for what 4 months? Feels pretty bad not lifting for 4 months, but usually when I get home from work at 4 (go in at 6), finish my homework, I pretty beat! I finally got a power rack though today, and am going to put it together right after I post this! I just wanted your the Muscle and Brawn Crew to help me decide what I should program I should start back up with. ROUTINE #1 Squat 1x20 Deadlift 1x15 Bench 3x10 Row 3x15 Overhead Press 3x12 Curl 3x10 Sit up BWx20 Some oblique exercise x20 ***This program will be done every other day, with increasing the weight each time I nail all the required sets. ROUTINE #2 A Squat 3x5 Bench 3x5 Row 3x5 Curl 2x8 B Deadlift 3x5 Close Grip Bench 3x5 Tricep Pull over 2x8 Reverse Curl 2x8 ***This program will be done every other day example, Monday = A, Wednesday = B and Friday = A, with increasing the weight each time I nail all the required set (lower body up 10lbs, upper body 5lbs) Both are good routines, but I think I might lean towards the 1st routine. It seems since I have been the second program for quite sometime and wanted to switch it up. I did get some compliments from family members during the holidays that I have gotten stronger! |

Welcome back JB. Hope life is treating you well.
I like the first routine, but I would probably limit deadlifts to every Wednesday, or every other day - maybe doing rows on Monday and Friday. I like it because of variety, but mileage may vary. We also have a fullbody challenge taking place if interested: http://muscleandbrawn.com/forums/bod...challenge.html My vote is always for the routine you are most motivated to do. (All things equal)
