Cash for Clunkers
I have an old minivan that I wouldn't mind trading in, but my wife is a little tentative. My current ride is a '94 Geo Metro. I bought it new, and it gets 45 MPG. I've driven it for over 15 years without any major hassles. It's a gas and go vehicle.

i would if i had the money to buy a new car... i would like to trade in my wifes 05 Durango for something that gets really good gas mileage.... but with retirement just around the corner, and a new job in the works whre i will have to move and sell my hose and buy a new one......etc etc etc.... i dont want to make another bill right now.

My car is in good shape, but it is older. It also gets too good of gas mileage to qualify, which is a real bummer. I would love a new car. I guess stimulating the economy only counts if you go green.
