Cash for Clunkers
 

Any of you considering the cash for clunkers program?

I have an old minivan that I wouldn't mind trading in, but my wife is a little tentative.

My current ride is a '94 Geo Metro. I bought it new, and it gets 45 MPG. I've driven it for over 15 years without any major hassles. It's a gas and go vehicle.

i would if i had the money to buy a new car... i would like to trade in my wifes 05 Durango for something that gets really good gas mileage.... but with retirement just around the corner, and a new job in the works whre i will have to move and sell my hose and buy a new one......etc etc etc.... i dont want to make another bill right now.

Where are you guys going to live once you are out?

I wish I made about $2 an hour...then a new car wouldn't be so iffy.

My car is in good shape, but it is older. It also gets too good of gas mileage to qualify, which is a real bummer. I would love a new car. I guess stimulating the economy only counts if you go green.

im trying to get on with The DoD (Department of Defense) basically doing the same thing im doing now, Teaching or managing the instruction of Our ArmY's mechanics, the job would require me to move to GA. i dont have aproblem moving its just all the shit that goes along with it.... Know what i mean??

Moving was one aspect of the military that got old for me. Especially when you started accumulating stuff.

yeah i know what you mean about the accumalating stuff..... i have owned a house for the last 12 years, so i have a " little" bit of stuff.........

We've put on 2 additions in the last 5 years and still have no room :)
