watched "The Dark Knight Rises" last night. Pretty good movie. I was pleasantly surprised to see Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur (the dungeon prison) in the movie - where a friend of mine lives (not the fort lol, but in that city) . I had no idea that a small part of the filming too place in India.

Pretty good movie - got my money's worth. Bain was good, but I liked Joker more.

Going to see Rises on IMAX in just under a week. Crazy excited. Saw it on Saturday on a regular screen and thought it was fantastic. Film of the year so far and a fitting end to Nolan's trilogy. Can't wait to see what he does next.

Also...


...the soundtrack was utterly superb.

The Mayans never said that 2012 was the end of the world, they said it was the end of the world as we know it. Does this mean the sky will be green & the grass will be blue? Maybe the oceans will turn to beer & the oxygen into marijuana smoke. Or maybe the banking sector will get destroyed & money will therefore be useless, meaning that humans can live as creative individuals with the opportunity to express themselves freely. I truly hope so, as long as I can still play music & lift weights!

Rewatched the 13 episode run of Firefly and the accompanying movie Serenity over the past week. Such an awesome, character driven show and the movie was a goddamn good sci-fi flick. Further cements my hatred for Fox for cancelling it.

Love, love, love the Dark Knight. Had a nice steak and watched Total Recall. It was a 2 hour action sequence that you just wanted to end.

The Bourne Legacy.

This movie sucked. It was slow, with no pace, and little suspense.

Renner and Norton try very hard, but the story, direction and editing don't hold up.

Total waste of my time.
