Saw the old Mortal Kombat movie. Wow, i remember it being bad, but it was REALLY bad. The wife and I were laughing through parts of it. It was Twilight-bad.
Watched the Last King of Scotland.Kind of disturbing. I thought the nudity was kind of gratuitous, and not necessary for the plot. Forrest Whitaker was scary good. He had the insane, evil, needy, thing down that Joaquin Phoenix nailed so well in Gladiator (only Phoenix was even better). The wife and I saw Tangled.It was a good little show. Like the "magic hair" angle. |

I remember watching Mortal Kombat and being entertained. But that was what, 15 years ago? I don't think I will retry it after reading your comments.

Saw Immortals over the weekend. It was pretty good, a decent actiony battle sort of flick. Would have liked it more without the torture, although there wasn't much, but I don't much enjoy that in any movie. Would have rather had that time spent on the gods fighting larger titans.
