How does the heat during summer season effect your workouts and diets (if)?
Just curious
I have a hard time eating enough and keeping my appetite up. |
I agree with you swede, I find it very difficult to get enough calories in the summer time. i do some work outside in the heat and those days just ruin my calorie intake.
I try to combat this by eating a lot at night time once I am cooled down and then my hunger usually hits me. My workouts do not change much since my gym is air conditioned and pretty cold for the older people |
No prob here, I have quite the surplus....lol
My gym at home is all closed up and the door to the main part of the house is closed, I like to run a "sweat box", dont ask me why. |
I force myself to eat every 2-3 hours.

My gym is very bad ventilated and hot, try to stay very well hydrated during the day before workout but i still drink about a gallon of water during workout and continue to drink through the evening afterwards. I also gave up the half-clean bulk i was on and now eat everything i can get my hands on (no reffined sugars though).

Biggest change for me is adding Gatorade to my water intake and chalk for the gym to combat my sweating.

If I was thinner and young, I would eat more ice cream and whole milk during Summer :)
Right now I live indoors so it doesn't bother me much. |
