Regarding post order...and the true winner.

The posts are placed with a time stamp. When a database gets hammered by 20 people at the exact same time, the server doesn't always respond at the same time to each incoming post. There are many factors involved including ingoing and outgoing ping times.

So...sometimes you might refresh and see that you were post 490, and then notice seconds later you were bumped to 491. This is because posts are always ordered by true time stamp.

The posts, as ordered, are correct. They are based on true time stamps.

Sneezing Stardusk made the post first, but had a slower ping time to the server, or at the server. So some of you weren't seeing her post because it wasn't fully processed yet. But when it was processed, it was ordered appropriately via time stamp.

SSD's (Post 500) Time Stamp was = Yesterday, 09:06 PM
Ben Reilly (Post 501) was = Yesterday, 09:07 PM
Rippednmichigan (Post 502) was = Yesterday, 09:07 PM

Sorry ladies and gents. SSD is the true winner.

i have NO problem what so ever with you winning. this is just something i think needs to be addressed for future runs of this sort. it can be manipulated after the fact. if you want i'll delete more of my own posts to prove it.
