stick to the imports.

1. way better on gas and will leave you with more money to party and spend on girly's
2. higher reliability......less time in shop=more time to pick up girly's
3. in the future if you wanted to modify a little to impress girly's simple bolt on parts are easily purchased from a mail order giant in your home state
4. pick a car that states your personality, this will help to impress girly's
5. do not buy a truck or jeep at this point, if you go play in them they will impress the girly's but they are extreme money pits and when you play hard they break this is inevitable thus less money for da girly's

check out consumer reports and other rating sites too so you make sure your buyin somethin worth the dough your shellin out.

Have you considered what insurance is going to run for these types of cars?
Typically, at your age your going to pay a premium for insurance, morreso if you drive a pocket rocket type of car.

Especially with the winter, it's so nice, especially compared to my old 2000 Mustang that couldn't do **** in the snow, even with studded snow tires and sandbags in the trunk.
if only..... that would be the dream car, but refer to ben's post lol:

lately hyundai has really stepped up their quality, but i think all the tiburons i'm looking at are older than when they really improved.

...... about to go look at the blue tiburon and some other cars.
