NOTE: If you do NOT understand a rule, it is your responsibility to PM me for clarification, or have the rule clarified in this thread. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Official Contest Notes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1) This contest officially begins Monday, February 8th, 2010. 2) Anyone can enter at any time! 3) There are 2 official classes: Bulk and cut. You MUST declare which class you are entering. 4) Full disclosure. You may only use substances that are currently legal. Full disclosure of prohormone use is required. This contest will judge changes as fairly as possible, through the lens of "what was used." 5) Time. You are allowed 16 weeks to bulk or cut. You must declare your start date by PMing me that date. I will tell you to place a specific object into your photos, so we know they are legit. Your transformation period does not have to run a total of 16 weeks. 6) The last day you can official start this contest is August 31st, 2010. 7) Logs. When you enter, you MUST start a new log with "2010 Contest" and "bulk" or "cut" in the title. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bulking and Cutting Contest Notes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 1) Photos. There are 5 mandatory photos at the beginning and end of the contest. We must be able to see legs, torso and arms in all photos. No exceptions, and no shirts! Yes, this means bare chest. The mandatory photos are: (A) Front relaxed, (B) Back relaxed, (C) Side Relaxed, (D) Front Double Biceps, (E) Back Double Biceps. You may take more photos than these. 2) Stats. Provide stats at the beginning and end. Don't bull**** anyone. Minimum stats are: Height, weight, arms size, chest size, quad size. You may post more stats including skinfold readings, waist size, whatever. 3) Weight. Weigh in the morning before your first meal on both the beginning and end dates of the contest. 4) Judging. Judging will be done by a maximum of 3 trusted individuals. Judging standards will be explained to the judges via telephone. All judges will be on the same sheet of music. 5) Logs. Contest logs must be updated at least once per week, unless a major life event prevents you from doing so. This is not a "carved in stone" rule, but more so a contest courtesy. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bulking Standards xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Bulking - To win the bulking contest you must demonstrate an increase in lean muscle mass over the course of 16 weeks. Fat gain is completely acceptable during a bulking phase. Muscle gain to fat gain ratio will be considered, meaning that if 2 competitors both gain 10 pounds, the competitor who appears to have gained more muscle will have an advantage. Bulking is about adding muscle mass. Statistics and aesthetics both play a deciding role in judging winners. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cutting Standards xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cutting - To win the cutting contest you must demonstrate an decrease in body fat while maintaining as much lean muscle mass as possible over the course of 16 weeks. Cutting is about shredding up to reveal existing muscle mass, and not just about losing weight. Hold on to as much muscle as possible! Statistics and aesthetics both play a deciding role in judging winners. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Prizes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The Top 3 in bulking and cutting will each receive: First Place: $100 in cash or supplement cash. Second Place: $50 in cash or supplement cash. Third Place: $25 in cash or supplement cash. Additional prizes will be given away. If you would like to donate money or supplements to winners, PM me. All donations will be added to the above prizes as I deem appropriate.
