Muscle and Brawn T-Shirts

Here's the official deal with the t-shirts:

I have a quote for $1110 for 100 shirts, which includes full color logo and the website address on the back. Some of this is setup costs, of course.

I DO NOT currently have that kind of money to spend. I wish I did. MAB makes a little over $200 a month in revenue. I spend a third of that on server costs, and most - if not all - of the other money goes back to you guys via logs, member of the month contests, and lifter sponsorships. To be honest, I give out of my own pocket more then I take in.

Obviously I could get a smaller order of shirts, but the cost goes up - and then you guys would have to pay more.

I'm sorry, but at this time I can't get the shirts printed. The community is growing rapidly, and maybe by 2011 will have a more solid financial base to draw from.

One of my goals with MAB has always been to put the focus on lifting first. I could stuff this site full of e-book crap to make money, and other bunk like that - but I don't and won't. Right now MAB's income comes from:

1) Google ads.
2) Our partnership with M&S.
3) Paid ads.

The best thing you can do to support MAB is to shop M&S. I'm not begging - but I am saying that this will help grow the site revenue and provide more cash for t-shirts, etc.

BTB, what if you kinda had like a list of ppl that would def purchase a shirt or more. then get the payment up front so you will have the money to get the shirts?

yeah, because depending on the end price id be down for 1 or 2

I thought so as well.

My big advertising contracts are up in December of 2010, and the site has grown quite a bit...so I will be able to charge quite a bit more for ad space. Quite honestly, with the way site traffic numbers are growing, 2011 will see MAB as in the top 10 for strength sites.

Onward and upward.

Thanks OTK. MAB just tied Muscle and Fitness, and hopefully will pass Flex Mag by Summer. The front of the site gets an insane amount of traffic...over time that will start to filter to the forum.
