OK smashing PR's tonite. Overall I felt very strong and would have went further with my bb shrugs but I was starting to feel some aches coming on. Traps BB shrugs 135x10x1 225x10x1 315x10x1 365x10x1 395x5x5 (pr) 435x4x1 (new max...........500 you are in my sites) 225x20x1 behind the back shrugs 195x10x1 2105x10x1 265x10x3 (pr) shoulders side laterals 25x10x3 (pr) not much but my form is very strict and my shoulders are a weak spot upright cable rows 78x10x1 118x10x3 (not really liking these. I like bo rows better) Machine press 250x5x5 Cardio treadmill 18deg incline 4.2 mph 15 min. Nothing drastic has changed with me over the last months o I have to attribute my pr's to the EST products I'm logging right now. |

Great shrugs! I need to work them back in to my routine. I feel the same way about side laterals too. My weights are wimpy, but I try to keep the form strict. No matter what though, I still can't ge the shoulders to grow.
Are you logging your supps on this forum?

i wouldn't get down about low weight on lateral raises this exercise is ment to be done slowly with low weight, if you use high weight you run a huge risk of tearing one of the very weak and undersized underlying muscles. just my opinion.

thanks boys. I will get a better video soon with my new camera. Maybe when i can do 450. As for tonight's workout, it sucked balls. My fault to. I wasn't smart enough to think that following a heavy ass shrug workout with legs might be a mistake. Well I figured it out 20 min. into my workout when my left hamstring decided it was time to leave early. It just gets depressing. I often sit back and wonder why in the fuck am I doing this shit to myself. Why can't I be content to be one of the other 40+ yr. olds in the gym who walk on the treadmill reading a book, or who do the little machine circuit with the same weight every single workout. The shitty thing is that this is gonna take me a while to recover from.
