Now MAB need to get backlinks I am picking them up at a much faster rate.

Female Muscle links to MABe multiple times. They are PR4

Bodybuilding.com links to me from their wallpaper page. They are PR5

Muscle and Strength links to me. They are PR4

Aussie Bodybuilding gives me multiple links. They are PR2

Critical Bench links to me. They are PR4

That's about it for bodybuilding sites. PR5 is the king. PR4 is a strong site.

Ever try backlinking through blogs?

You mean by posting comments? Yes. I did that three months ago and received about 1 lasting link from over 100 "supposedly" Do Follow blogs.

One of the better ways I found to get links is to contact supplement companies. It is a very competitive market and they will just about do anything.

I've had a bad PR spanking.

I think as my site goes across two domains, both intrinsically interlinked purporting to be the same site.

Ever since I launched the 2nd domain [just added a single letter on domain, most don't notice site is technically 2 domains it doesn't appear as such] my PR crashed.

Oh well - site still holds authority status in Google for about 3 combos of the main keyword.

Annoys me, but I can't stop the interlinking, so I am doomed IMO

I basically can't.

Plus well, I like it.

I notice Google will only give a site so many answers. Even a powerhouse like BB.com will only get say 3/4 positions on page one - even if they have 7434 pages related to the subject.

Some real longtails, I notice I will have 3/4 of one domain, then 3/4 of the other....basically taking up almost the whole first page. Some once you chuck my Youtube vids in, places I have submitted a snippet of my RSS feeds for excerpts - I take up the whole first page.

I think PR really doesn't matter as far as placings, at least for me it doesn't. Since I got spanked [dropped from 3 to 0 on one domain lol] my search positions have skyrocketed higher...
