Default How to incorporate Board work?

I am wanting to incorporate board work when I do close grip work. Would I do my working sets then add couple singles to each board?

Example
barx10
135x3
225x3
255x1
300x2
1brd attempt
x
2brd attempt
x

I'd do a main exercise and do boards as supplemental lift. 2-3 sets of 5-10 reps.

You can do more than singles with boards. Any overload will be great for your lockout.

I'm not sure if it's worth it to do close grip work with boards. You won't be able to overload with the boards if you have to underload because you're using a close grip. When I do partial work the goal is always to use more weight than I can use in the normal movement, not the same or even less.
