Default Buying a House help
So I am going to be buying a house soon. I have quite a bit of money saved and it is time. My girlfriend and I will be buying it together. We both have good jobs so why not.

Just looking for some wisdom from you guys. I am still young and dumb, so share some knowledge.

Next week we meet with the bank to get pre qualified. I have been looking at properties. Once pre qualified I will look for a good realtor

step one figure out what is "in" your budget.... dont over spend.... like most people do now adays...

Step two-- do alota of looking around

Step three-- have fun...

Thanks nt, my plan has always been to live slightly below my means to eliminate financial stress. I think banks give people way too much money, I will see what we qualify for then find something significantly cheaper

No offense taken, we will get married but right now from a financial stand point this makes more sense. We have been together for over 7 years and have an awesome relationship.

Once we settle in a house we will begin to save for our wedding.
