Default Wish I was a Boss

So I have to leave early tomorrow from work, only by about half an hour or so. I need to be in another town over to get my cat from the vet, who is very sick and needs to get into the vet asap so I can not wait any longer. I told my boss I needed to leave by 430 at the very latest and she got pissy with me. I never ask to leave early and I am always early for work, and do my job like I am suppose to. She on the other hand pushes her work off on me, comes in whenever she feels like it and leaves early every day. How can she get pissy with me like that? If it were her dog, then she would have no trouble leaving early to get the dog. Or if her daughter had a school function, she leaves early. This is very important to me and she just does not understand it. Yet the rest of us are all understanding when she leaves to watche her daughter play ball or has swimming lessons or a dentist apt. or whatever. Just needed to rant a bit.

One boss ticked me off, well superviser, because I mentioned that I had to leave to sign documents for a house and to collect keys, at my own loss monetarily, and she got all huffy, but it was a one-off and soemthing I had not asked for in years...a little give and take isn't much to ask for. It's also not like I had another choice on timelines because the place shut as we shut.
