I'm not really sure what anyone else has put as I haven't read the responses, but from what I saw there was plenty of verbal interaction occurring prior to the incident and not the sort of verbal interaction that would have lead to a polite outcome.

Who started it, who knows! But, IMO, nobody has a right to lay a hand on another, I don't care whether that's man on woman or woman on man; in all the year's I've been married, it's been my opinion that I have no right to hit my husband but should I do so, he has every right to reply in kind (and vice versa).

Obviously, where it comes to self-defence, that's a completely different scenario.

I'm throwing my hands up here. Just do some research on the law, your rights to defend yourself, and how to protect yourself legally in a self defense situation. Because it is clear you have no clue what you are talking about.

You seem to have strong emotion around this. I do not.

I seems obvious, to my mind at least, that the bus driver handled the situation very poorly.

i would like to add what i said i meant nothing by it i don't explain my self well in writing over the INTERNET i think big josh misunderstood me and i don't want to upset anybody and i don't condone the hitting of woman, i will have no more to say on this subject.
