I agree, many woman are just doing it because other ladies are around. They want to look as good as they can so they can snag one of the guys if they are looking before another one gets him. Or if they are taken they want the man to think they are better looking than the other females at the gym.

Unfortunately most of society doesn't see it the same way; women, and men these days, are expected to look their best at all times.


Here's the interesting thing, if I were to ask how many shower when they get up even if they know they will be showering after their gym session, how many will say yes? It's the same for the application of make-up etc, besides those that wear make-up on a regular basis look like the undead when they have none on because their skin has been covered against the natural elements for so long that it has no colour to it.

I've never worn make-up and I have healthy looking skin with a good colour; it also means I can be ready to go out within minutes of jumping out of bed.

This is very true. But it still makes me look at them. Not to sound bad but would you rather look at a girl who looks good or one that does not care how she looks?

I suppose it depends on what you think 'looking good' means. Personally, I don't really like make-up, over-coiffed hair or designer gear. I think it generally looks nasty.
