^ What LTL said. Unless the big feds become strong anti-drug I don't think it has any chance.

I'd like to see another strength sport in the Olympics though. Strongman would be cool or Powerlifting.

I think it would be fitting to the origin of the Olympics. But thing beings what they are these days...

I was wondering why it wasn't in the Olympics, yesterday. Any sport can have drugs involved, as we all know, but that shouldn't exclude the sport itself, it doesn't after things where other sports are concerned such as cycling which is forever under the doping microscope; I'm sure there would be some lifters willing to give it a shot, drug-free...I bet LtL and Steve would, as would others.

From what some guys were discussing on Facebook, petitioning the ioc and out could possibly become an exhibition sport.
