It happens all too often today; the kids don't realise (and probably don't care either) that the person being bullied as an adult was more than likely bullied as a child as well...society is crumbling fast.

Where are her rights, in relation to being bullied by a pack and set up for it because it's being recorded? What has the school done? Pretty sure, since this vid is on youtube, that the school would have seen it by now.

I often wonder what the home lives are like for kids who are bullies like that. In my experience it seems the bullies are more often than not victims of physical/mental abuse, too. **NOT justifying this in ANY way -- just thinking "out loud", so to speak.**

Absolutely, the behaviour is learned from somewhere and more often than not it's the home.

This is one of the reasons the shouting and aggressiveness just doesn't work when disciplining a child like that, since that's all they know anyway. It has no impact.

If I am dealing with a kid at work, interviewing him/her for something "bad" -- I will often times look them straight in the eye and sincerely ask them what is wrong at home. Thats usually answered by a flood of tears.

And some kids turn out the exact opposite from years of abuse and end up going missed under the radar because they behave so no attention is drawn to the fact that something is seriously wrong at home.
