I think all federations require you to control the weight down after lockout. Otherwise you could just lockout, lose grip just after, drop it and still be given the lift.

Yup. Every fed requires your hands to remain on the bar until is returned to the floor.

This will inevitably be the cue for someone to post a video of a lift which got passed breaking that rule and say "SEE!!", but people should of course realise that sometimes judges are lenient. A correct Dead always involves hands remaining on the bar while it's returned to the platform.

Doesn't mean she has to do that in training, she can just drop the weight. If you see my videos, sometimes I will just drop it. It's not something I would recommend to anybody else though, but it does happen from time to time.
