Bad motorcycle accident 100 yards from my house.

Car collides with motorcycles on Highway 151 north of Fond du Lac | Fond du Lac Reporter | fdlreporter.com

At least 5 cycles down. Car crossed the center line into a pack of 10-12 bikes. real bad. Bodies everywhere, limbs on the ground. Multiple flight for life helicopters. Driver was pinned in his car.

TOWN OF TAYCHEEDAH — Highway 151 is closed this afternoon following a crash that reportedly involves a vehicle and a number of motorcycles.

The crash occurred around 3 p.m. in the area of N8941 Highway 151, between Gladstone Beach Road and Welling Beach Road. Reports indicate 4-5 people are injured.

Five ambulances and three medical helicopters have been called to the crash.

Traffic is being diverted at County W and southbound traffic is being diverted off Johnsburg Road, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, State Patrol, Calumet First Responders, Fond du Lac City Ambulance and Mount Calvary Fire Department are among those at the scene.

Oh wow that is terrible. I could not imagine coming onto the scene of that. how horrible, I really feel for those families.

Updated report. Pack of 12 bikes. 10 were hit. One dead, 5 in critical, the rest with non-life threatening injuries.

Woah, that car looks really messed up, I dread to think what the motorcyclists went through.

A lot of damage to the car or car in a pic like this may have been done post hit, as the driver needed extrication and this is done by removing doors, cutting posts and removing roofs, in extreme cases we also can displace dashboard and do a few other tricks. In this case though there is definitely a lot of front end damage and question some to the passenger side though it may have folded when the cribbing( blocks used for stabilizing were removed).

Good point ffemtny that makes more sense, so easy to overlook when you see a smashed up vehicle.
