I'm going to try to keep track of my Carb Loading Experience by John Kiefer here. This is a big experiment for me because this goes against things that I've been taught for years and have done. Why I'm doing it? I've dropped my weight down to 167 and my bad fat is sub 10%. You can see in my picture album. I'm switching gears and want to gain lean mass while only spiking up no higher than 12%. I've never done this before, and from the looks of it - CBL is the way to go. Fears Like I said it's going against my thoughts and learnings on nutrition. So it freaks me out when it tells me to eat half a pizza and cereal as my last two meals of the day. Tonight. I'm having whatever amounts of rice, half or a whole roasted chicken, and a biscuit. Then before bed, a pint of icecream and protein shake. It's a bit crazy in my eyes, but the results that I came across from others were pretty impressive. Wish me luck

No fear bro. I have been back loading with a slight tweak for the past 6 weeks.
I would do 0 carb everyday until Sat. On Sat i would train legs and cardio and then afterwards i would go hit the all you can eat sushi resturant. First couple of weeks no weight gain or loss. The last 4 weeks i begin to lose weight. Blew my mind because i never lost any strength and i got to over indulge in one of my favorite foods and lose weight! ![]()

Just for easy and quick reading, I'm only going to post what I eat at night time because basically for CBL you fast in the morning at eat protein and fats throughout the day. At 6pm and on is when things are interesting:
Yesterday morning weight: 167 Last night two Carb Meals: 630PM 1 cup of uncooked rice, half a roasted chicken, 1 biscuit and veggies 945PM 1 pint of coffee ice cream and 20 g protein shake w. 1 ripe banana This morning weight: 165! interesting stuff, it's been hard for me to get it through my head to eat all of this stuff at night time. But if you are going to do something, you do it all the way! ALoha

So it's been three straight nights of Carb Back-Loading following the Bulk Density protocol. But what has happened was that I actually lost weight. I'm still at 165 and on wednesday i was 167.
According to CBL, Kieffer mentioned people may experience a quick drop in fat loss. If that's the case than cool, but I'm looking to add more weight. I'll keep doing what I'm doing, maybe it's my body adjusting to this whole thing. Anyways here is a pic from Saturday, today August 11, 2012 after three days of Carb Back-Loading with donuts, pizza, pint of ice cream, white rice, cereal, etc.
