If you have done fullbody before, it wouldn't hurt you to do one short cycle of 5/3/1. If you have not done fullbody, or done it half heartily, I would move to your new routine but work it a little lighter to get used to the volume, tempo, rest and all.

Ultimately, you will have to make this call. The challenge doesn't start until Jan 1, so you need to decide how you are going to spend the next 4 weeks. Don't skate, either prepare for the new challenge or press hard with what you are doing.
