I decided to start a fresh log that will last me into mid April. I got my sight set on
2011 Natural Buckeye Classics! I have taken on a personal trainer, Brad Borland. You can check out more about
Brad here. Brad and I have the new routine all laid out for the next few weeks. We are working on the diet now. I can only give so much information as Brad gets paid for his services and it wouldn't be right for me to throw all his advice and teachings out there. We are going back to basics regarding training. Then we can ramp me up towards the show.
This will accomplish two things:
1) I will create a base of strength and mass early on then will have the time to gradually switch over to a more detailed program as the show gets closer.
2) This will create a new approach to training.
Below is the lay out of the two routines.
For the first four weeks or so I will follow the routine below (there is a method to the madness)
Day 1: Chest, Back, Shoulders
Day 2: Arms, Calves, Thighs
Day 3: Off or light cardio
Day 4: Chest, Back, Shoulders
Day 5: Arms, Calves, Thighs
Day 6: Off or light cardio
Day 7: Chest, Back, Shoulders
and so on...
This is an A/B split so I will be hitting all muscles from all angles.
Diet is in the works, and it will only be out lined just like the routine for reasons already stated earlier.
Now I am obviously looking to come in way better than my first show. I learned a lot from my first experience and plan on using that to fuel me through the up and coming months. I WILL PLACE in this show in my class (which ever class that is).
Questions and comments are always welcome! So follow me on my journey to a whole new me. BIGGER, BETTER and BADDER!!
