Yeah, I wouldn't turn down a 429 LOL!

A buddy of mine had a '67 GTX with a 440 that was some kind of strong. His grandfather bought it for him for something like $7500 and it only had 2 minor flaws. Faded just a bit below the bodymounted fuel cap, and there was about 1/2" of thread that came loose on the drivers seat. Otherwise, spotless. My buddy was tired of it and sold it about a year later (in the same shape) for $2500. I nearly threw up! He was too embarrassed to tell me, so I had no chance to even try to buy it!
