This is one of the hidden issues of training and dieting...age. I do believe in dirty bulking:
A) If you're on steroids
B) If you're younger, and in your first 3 years of training
But I'm no longer a fan of long term bulking in any form, clean or dirty (because of decreased anabolism), and I'm not a fan at all of bulking for naturals who have quite a bit of muscle. When I say "quite a bit", I mean approaching their natural limits.
Bulking is good when done right, but it's rarely done right.
