As for the squat technique, that is just how strong deadlifters squat, Lou Simmon's made Chuck Vogelpal demonstrate two types of squats, the wide and straight up squat used bu sumo deadlifters, and the more brutish squat used by the few true conventional lifters. Head looked ok to me.
