I crushed it on bench today. Man that was fun, fun fun 'til Daddy took the TBird away!

warmups: arm swings, band dislocations, exterior rotations band pulls, pullaparts, wood bar dislocations, bar hangs, lat pulldowns, 3 or 4 sets of 5 pushups
Pause Bench:
3x 2x 245 (
PR, easy!)
Bench reps:

DB Skulls, elbow was acting up, so lightened up on these:
3x 10x 23
ss w/ 4x 15x 150 Lat Pulldowns to chest
Tricep pressdown w/ med band, really leaned into these:
2x 25 (WHoa Nelly! That'll get your arms pumped up like nobody's business!)
I did these because I shorted the DB stuff a little and I saw JB do them the other day so I wanted to see what they were like.

Even got out of whack on the last rep there and still pressed it up easily.

I was being cautious on not failing a rep, or I'd have gone for a couple more reps. But JB said nothing crazy, the goal is to taper down to get ready for the meet.
