This is why I generally don't "follow" anyone or anything in any of these sports.
If Layne is going to bodybuild, then he will be judged by how big, symmetrical, and dry his muscles look.
If he is going to enter powerlifting competitions, he will be judged on his strength AND his form.
There is no "hating" in acknowledging that his depth is not deep. No one cares how deep you squat when you are flexing in posers. People care about how deep you squat when you are squatting in a singlet for a record.
That he calls it "hating" just reinforces that he has bought into his own overly inflated sense of self-importance. It's sad and pathetic at the same time.
