Default Wrist and knee wraps

When did you start using them? I don't have much money to put into my training, which is why I haven't messed with any extras like wraps or belts, but now that my bench has surpassed 300lb, I've noticed that my wrists start to hurt quite a bit, especially if I don't get my grip just right. I haven't had any knee pain, probably because my squat only surpasses my my bench by 50lb and I also do lots of different types of training (keeps your joints healthier), but I want to keep it that way, and if I can squeeze a little more iron onto the bar by wrapping my knees then I wouldn't comlain about that either.

Thoughts?
