Today I woke up even earlier at 4 am. Had to be in new Orleans for 6:30 for field testing. Actually got to put out some fires

No I'm just getting training as a first responder on board a vessel as there is no one coming out in a fire truck to save you

it was hot as heck in the turn out gear though .
Then I come home and tried heating my drive shaft slip yoke on my Trans am because it is twisted onto the output shaft of the transmission and will not come out. I have tried every thing to yank it out so I figure a cutting torch to heat up the yoke will make the metal expand and pull off.
No, did not work. What it did do was nearly catch the car on fire

I seem smoke come from inside the car so I had to Lower it down off my lift and hurry up and put out the rubber shifter boot. That was a close call and I feel like an idiot.
Focus was not on this work out bit I did ok concidering
