New Goals

My wife and I are expecting a little one in August, so my life is changing and my goals are going to be more orientated towards being a father. I wanted to compete this spring or summer, and it was one of my goals, but I will wait.

(1.) My weight is going to be my number one goal. I wanted to be as big and strong as possible, so I was eating as big as I could. Time to reign that in. My goal is 220 lbs by the end of June.

(2.) I want to add 50 pounds to all my lifts in 6 months and another 25 pounds (for a total of 75lbs.) at the end of the year.

(3.)"Focus" I have to focus on my goals. Life happens, but I have to prioritize. I don't want having a baby to keep me out of the gym, but I also know I have new responsibilities. I will be the best husband, and father l can be while still maintaining my fitness goals.
Good goals. You can do this.

Parenting is hard, so it's good to head into your first child without being "too big". Lack of sleep's a killer.
