Definitely hips raising and too high is like the plague when it comes to deads. Almost everybody was doing it over at the other site.
When I missed my first try at 465 a few months ago, I did not pull the bar towards me and I paid the price with a miss. 5 minutes later, I tried it again and got it. The only adjustment I made was what you just described in the video. It's also important to make sure the bar does not roll forward, or it becomes next to impossible to pull the bar towards you during the first part of the lift. I also found that out the hard way.
