This is my plan, eventually 140 x 8 should technically net me close to 180.
Now while I don't think 140x8 will directly net me 180. It should allow me to eventually hit say 160x5 which should allow me to eventually hit around say 170x3 which should translate to 180x1 eventually. That is my plan with varying the reps.
I think I've probably peaked out my ability on singles for the time being in all 3 lifts. I'm a bit of a wreck right now, waking up in the morning hurts, walking down stairs hurts and even my neck hurts. BUT all this is actually a GOOD thing, the higher reps will allow me some recovery from the top end work and build muscles. Now it's time to get back to the drawing board, build a bigger base in time for another run of singles when I get some strength back up.
