Default

doing them for a main movement is good when you use a board right at your sticking point because it takes away all the momentum off your chest...then speed work can teach you explosion to blast through the sticking point..can you get a big bench without them? absolutely, same can be said about bands and chains, but the more you have at your disposal the more you can blow through your weaknesses and sticking points. but these are just reasons we use them - granted I stand behind the fact they are more beneficial for geared lifting - but I still find good use for them in raw - but nothing replaces full range which we both can agree on
