Frankly, why would half the people bother anyway; I'd hazzard a guess that a very high percentage of bodybuilders, particularly newcomers to the sport, haven't got anywhere near their possible max size through
normal training practices alone...
after that potential has been reached, is the time to hit the more off-the-wall stuff, IMO; in the meantime, train.
