Today I started the routine Steve suggested to get me ready for the competition. It went well.
Dynamic warmup
Bench press: 185 lbs 8x/ 6x/ 6x
Squat: 250 lbs 5x/ 5x/ 4x
I love to squat. I really like it when I'm fatiguing and I fill my legs drop a gear and finish driving the bar up. I'm glad he programmed two squat days a week. I'm thinking of adding another set or two to both lifts.
