I was thinking on the day that I do dead lift, after my last dead lift I can use the same weight for a set of higher rep rack pulls from the Knee.

Rack pulls are generally easier on my body than deadlifts. You can certainly do more reps. If mass is your goals I would perhaps start around knee or above and aim for 5-8 rep sets. The rack pull/power shrug combo is a great choice as well. I would often do them as finishers after deadlifts.
