Its what you do with that time in my opinion. I could probably maintain what I have and maybe get stronger with 20 minutes per session, but like Babs said, there has to be a minimum level somewhere. On the other extreme, a 3 hour session isn't likely to be fruitful after the first 60-90 minutes, unless its something like events training with lots of breaks in between.
