Generally speaking, based on your numbers I would say a 5x5 might be better. However, you are a tough case because of your injury. It sounds like you have an injury that is truly worth being concerned about.
Either way, to do 5/3/1 you will need to squat, deadlift and OHP as will a 5x5. Are you capable of performing these lifts?
Furthermore, I personally am not the biggest fan of stronglifts 5x5. I think there are better options. Although, to be honest, I've never done it, so my opinion is based on the program and the community surronding the program. I guess it's just my personal opinion.
