I would say power cleans. I'm really just stealing my opinion from Bill Starr. In his book "Strongest Shall Survive" he says if you can only do one movement do power cleans.
Having said that, the Whole clean and press idea that has been brought up in this thread makes a lot of sense.

I am not a powerlifter nor am I a bodybuilder. I just want to be big and strong.
