Yes, sadly it was training related. It was more of a compilation of little tweaks that caused one major injury.

I was training for SPF Nationals last year, and doing some beltless deads (500 x3) when my back went. I tore my L4 and L5 with that, but further test reveals I also had a slight curvature in my back, my spine was bent the wrong way in my neck and I had broken my sacrum in two places at one point that never healed. So all of that came to light from this injury.

I feel proud to say that today all of those injuries are gone, without undergoing any surgery.
