It's an unusual step taken by this gym but in fairness, I do see where they are coming from. People who are carrying 100+ extra pounds will often be intimidated by a 'regular' gym atmosphere. This way, they get to meet new people in the same situation. Hopefully, better exercise and nutrition habits can be learned.

Yeah, exactly. As it doesn't affect anyone else, I can't see any problem with it. And anyway, I think the way my waist is going, I could qualify.
