Thanks Kuyt. I avoid thinking of RPE's in terms of poundage but more reps. A 9 would be 1 more rep in the tank and 10 no reps, so for me a 9.5 is a 0.5 probability of making another rep; so a a real grind of a next rep. If someone had stuck an extra pound on I would have likely made the lift but either way a double would have crushed me. Like you say, IMO; RPE's are all relative so as long as you stay consistent they can work.


Also, I survived the afternoon pub am now Liverpool bound. Will check out logs tomorrow if I'm capable.
