Reasonable point.

I can't bench heavy without the Slingshot, but it very well have contributed to weaknesses or instability. When I bench above 60% without a Slingshot I deal with substantial lingering strains that make any form of heavy training, even with a Slingshot, nearly impossible.

So it could certainly be the case, but it's not something I can really test.

Each time I bench raw I need 2 months of recovery time before I feel 100%.
