After this pic was taken, I added another 2 x 6 to each side of the bottom as "skis", to make sure the bolts on the bottom were covered up. We do all our Prowler work in the parking lot, and the wood has proven terrific on the pavement! We've beaten the crap out of this thing and while the wood holds up remarkably well on the bottom, I figure it's no big deal to have to put new 2 x 6's on every few months if need be (I have a lot of extra 2 x 6's).
